There is no end in sight for commuters’ misery in the capital, it seems. First, Luas drivers downed tools for a good few days, bringing the city to a standstill.
Now, it’s Dublin Bus’ turn.
As the bus strike is about to enter its third day, unions are now rubbing salt on the commuters’ wounds by saying that there are 13 further dates of industrial action planned.
And with many customers already venting their anger online and elsewhere, the row is bound to escalate.
So get ready for a long Autumn of discontent if you live in the capital.
