Social media users have raised concerns after it emerged that the HSE confirmed a number of people who were fully vaccinated against covid contracted the virus and died from it in hospital.
The Health Service Executive (HSE) has revealed that 18 fully vaccinated people are currently in hospital with severe Covid-induced illness.
As of 8pm on Wednesday, there were 86 people in hospital with coronavirus illness, with 22 of those in intensive care.
Meanwhile, the HSE confirmed that a total of 12 people who were fully vaccinated died from covid but have claimed that only 2 people were vaccinated for more than 14 days, citing that the vaccine doesn’t fully kick in until 14 days after receiving it.
Once again, the efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccines is coming into question with some on social media claiming that they’ll never get the vaccine no matter what happens.
