Concerns remain this morning for Dr Tony Holohan’s health after he appeared to say “I’m not feeling well” at press briefing

He’s the man that the country has been listening to for the past month.

Dr Tony Holohan has had people hanging in his every decision as to what direction the government should take to help prevent a massive outbreak of coronavirus in the country.

Ireland’s chief medical officer, Dr Tony Holohan was admitted to hospital in Dublin after he felt very unwell.

Dr Holohan appeared to say at a press briefing on Tuesday evening:
“I’m not feeling well” – while rubbing his stomach twice.

The top medic is believed to have been tested for covid-19 but it’s understood that he appears to not have contracted it.

Other doctors have said that Dr Holohan is under major pressure during this crisis. They say he should make a recovery by the end of the week and have wished him well.

There’s concern this morning as to Dr Holohan’s health status considering the workload he’s had and whether he can resume his role as Ireland’s go-to coronavirus expert.
