If you are a fan of The Notorious, your next date on the fighting calendar is March 5.
On that date, McGregor will battle it out with Brazilian fighter Rafael Dos Anjos for the UFC lightweight belt. The bout will take place in Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
If the Irishman comes on top, he will become th efirst fighter in UFC’s history to hold two belts at the same time.
But Dos Anjos is no pushover.
He defeated Anthony Pettis in March 2015 to capture the Lightweight title, and then defended it successfully vs. Donald Cerrone last month. And just like the Irishman, he pulverized his opponent in just 66 seconds on the first round.
