Convicted child rapist, Danny Ward (35) has been spotted leaving Ireland aboard a ferry from Dublin to Holyhead. He was spotted by a concerned mother to stopped to take photos of him.
Ward was travelling alone. It is understood that the Gardaà were informed of his leaving the country and that the police in the UK were aware of his intent to travel there.
Ward had been attacked a number of times by vigilante groups. He has had to be moved numerous times and was ran from his home in Ringsend  after being beaten by teenagers who recognised him last June. After that he was believed to be sleeping rough on the streets of Dun Laoghaire.
Ward was since spotted in a number of locations including on a ferry to Wales and outside of a girl’s school on Dublin’s northside.
Ward has been placed in the sex offenders’ list for life after being convicted of raping a child.
