A 14-year-old German teenager is in a serious condition in hospital this evening after falling 25ft down a cliff in the Loop Head Peninsula early this morning.
The young man was visiting the cliffs with his family when he slipped and fell down a cliff, landing on rocks below. He was rescued after a two hour operation involving multiple emergency services and was airlifted to Limerick University Hospital, where he is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
