As many as 120,000 restaurant jobs might be lost for good in Ireland unless immediate action is taken, according to the Restaurant Association of Ireland (RAI).

Covid-19 has forced the closure of most restaurants in the country, leading to significant financial loss.

The RAI has now written a nine-point recovery plan to address the issue, and has warned of dire consequences for the industry in the months ahead if no solution is forthcoming.
