Hardware stores have now been deemed ‘essential’, which effectively means they will reopen soon.
This directly contradicts the advice of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan, who recently said he did not consider this type of stores ‘essential.’
Nevertheless, hardware stores appear set to reopen in the near future with workers being allowed go back to work and customers allowed shop there along with the other lockdown restrictions.
