Coronavirus: Leading scientist claims that a covid-19 vaccine is not a certainty and may be unsuccessful

Many people have mixed views on vaccines for anything, nevermind an untested one for covid-19, but one leading scientist has reservations about whether it would be successful or can even be discovered.

A leading scientist has warned that people should not believe that a vaccine for Covid-19 ‘is a certainty.’

British Government Chief Scientific Adviser Sir Patrick Vallance, speaking to The Guardian, said that vaccine development takes a long time, and often the process is unsuccessful.

According to Mr. Vallance, people should be clear that a vaccine for Covid-19 is not a given, and might never be available.
