Coronavirus: Major concern for 71 patients admitted to ICU in Republic of Ireland




In what can only be described a very serious health crisis, the battle to beat covid-19 truly is on at this particular time.

The HSE are understood to be very concerned for 71 patients who have coronavirus and are after being admitted into Intensive Care Units around the country.

There’s currently around 250 ICU beds in the country and now 71 are filled with coronavirus patients who desperately need them.

It’s growing at a rate of five-fold per week so it’s absolutely critical that people play their part and stay at home.

There’s a total 2,121 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland.
