Norway has reopened nurseries today, after a 4-week long closure due to Covid-19.
The country has said that it has the Covid-19 situation ‘under control’, and that reopening nurseries makes sense because children ‘have been less affected.’ Primary school pupils are then scheduled to return to class on April 27.
The decision has been met with criticism by parent groups who said that it is unwise to allow children to gather in classrooms again. An online petition against the Norwegian Government decision has so far gathered 30,000 signatures.
