The number of coronavirus cases on board the Diamond Princess cruise liner has risen to 61 overnight.
The ship remains anchored off the coast of Japan with over 3,700 people on board.
It is understood that no fewer than 20 people have so far been removed from the ship for treatment.
Passengers were told to remain inside their cabins, and are facing having to stay there for at least 14 days.
