Local health authorities in France have said that the coronavirus situation is ‘deteriorating rapidly’ across the country.
The number of cases appears to double every three days, prompting fears of a mass outbreak occurring pretty soon.
The French Government recently issued a closure order on all restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and clubs, and has also banned large gatherings of people in an effort to curtail the spread of the virus.
France has so far reported 5,300 cases and 127 deaths.
