Six people have died at a UK care home, while many others at the same facility also tested positive for Covid-19.
The Oak Springs Care Home in Wavertree, Liverpool, has been badly hit by an outbreak of the killer disease over the past few weeks. Staff numbers quickly dwindled as they either got sick or were forced to isolate.
Neighbours living near the facility have rallied together to support both the remaining staff and the residents there during the worst of the pandemic.
