As if things weren’t bad enough for the people infected with Covid-19, up to 70 people have become trapped after a hotel in the Chinese city of Quanzhou, being used as a coronavirus quarantine facility, collapsed suddenly.
Close to 35 people have now thankfully been pulled from the rubble of the five-storey Xinjia Hotel, authorities confirm but many more remain trapped.
It’s still not yet clear what caused the collapse or if anyone has died.
