The Government reportedly considering on-the-spot fines for those found breaching Covid rules.
A new €50 fine for not wearing a mask might be introduced, for example. Also, a €200 fine for people attempting to leave their county might be imposed.
The country is currently under Level 3 restrictions, which might not be as efficient as the Level 5 lockdown wisely suggested by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) in recent days.
