A couple in the Canadian province of Quebec have been fined after they broke Covid-19 restriction rules.
According to BBC News, the pair were fined after the woman was seen walking her husband on a dog leash.
It is understood that police fined the pair after the woman was walking with her husband in the city of Sherbrooke, on Saturday.
According to La Tribune, the woman claimed that she was walking her dog when questioned by police who were asking why they were breaking the recently imposed curfew.
Under the current guidelines, people living in the city are not allowed out on the streets between the hours of 20:00 and 5:00 unless it is for essential reasons or to walk their dog near their home.
It is reported that the couple refused to co-operate with police when questioned and they were subsequently fined CA$1,546.
