A British couple have tragically died after the buggy they were travelling in plummeted into a 700 foot ravine in Greece.
According to reports in the UK, the couple both aged in their 20s, sadly lost their lives after they lost control of the vehicle whilst travelling along a road in the Profitis Ilias mountain, in Santorini.
Although a rescue mission was launched immediately after the crash, authorities on the Greek Island said it proved difficult to reach the crash site.
However after a number of after a number of hours the couple’s remains were found.
It is not yet known what exactly caused the accident but police say an investigation is currently ongoing.
They added that British authorities have since been informed and they are currently in liason.
