The Court of Appeal has decided that the 18-month prison sentence imposed on a man who had falsely imprisoned, threatened to kill, and violently attacked his partner by kicking and punching her, spitting in her face, and strangling her was excessively light, reports Breaking News.

Curtis (20) knelt on the victim’s chest during one of the attacks and threatened to murder her. Curtis and the victim are still together, the sentencing court was informed.
