Coveney: This is not a time for normal holidays, people shouldn’t come to Ireland if they can’t quarantine

The former Tanaiste and new Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Coveney said that this is not a time for normal holidays and that if people can’t quarantine when they get to Ireland then they shouldn’t come here at all.

Coveney said that it’s not a time for tourists to come to Ireland and if they can’t self-isolate then they shouldn’t come to the country in 2020.

He said that the uncertainty, many of whom say that Coveney’s own government has created, has given much concern across the tourism industry in Ireland.
