The former Tánaiste Simon Coveney has described the recent general election results as harsh and was the result of voters impatience.
Coveney who was speaking to RTÉ’s Today with Sean O’Rourke programme said that he fully believes that the issues surrounding housing and the Health crisis resulted in voters voting for change.
Coveney who admitted that his party performed badly at the General Election, also said that his party will learn from their mistakes during this campaign.
He added that he is satisfied that not enough happened in regards to addressing the issues within housing and health.
