Two weather warnings are currently in place across the country, as very unsettled conditions continue to cause problems.

A Status Yellow warning for snow and ice will remain in effect nationwide until midnight tonight, as freezing temperatures and snowfalls across some areas disrupt transportation.

The second warning is for strong winds, affecting counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, and Kerry. High winds of up to 110km/h are expected in parts of these counties.

Met Eireann has also reiterated the possibility of coastal flooding due to the combination of strong winds and high tides.
