A massive increase in coronavirus cases in Germany is prompting fears about the arrival of a ‘fourth wave.’
According to local health authorities, the 7-day incidence rate -a key metric- rose by over 26 points in less than a week.
Germany is currently under an effective state of emergency, which was due to be lifted on November 25th.
