The UK is reporting the highest daily case increase since July, with almost 43,000 new infections detected over the past 24h.
The coronavirus situation appears to be quickly deteriorating there, following the confirmation of 42,776 new cases.
Here in Ireland, the virus is currently resurging again, following a failed vaccination plan by the Government.
