HSE Officials say that they’re now extremely concerned with the number of people in hospital across Ireland with confirmed cases of covid.
It’s understood that there are more than 408 people in hospital with Covid where the cut-off danger point is said to be 400.
The Department of Health have confirmed 2,066 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours.
In an announcement the Department also confirmed that there are 408 people in hospital with Covid-19.
They also say there are 69 people in ICU across the country with the virus.
