British health authorities have said that everyone over the age of 18 will have been offered the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine ‘by September.’
The British Government had previously said that every adult in Britain would have been offered the vaccine by the autumn, without going into specifics.
The current vaccines are reportedly ‘up to 90%’ effective, but new strains and the news of adverse events may cast doubts about the vaccine’s effectiveness and uptake.
