Covid-19: Chief Medical Officer says that coronavirus infections ‘far too high’ across Ireland




Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan has said that coronavirus infections are still ‘far too high’ across the country.

Dr. Holohan added that Covid-19 ‘has taken root in every single part of the country.’

There have been 169,780 confirmed Covid-19 infections since the start of the pandemic in Ireland.
