Covid-19: Dutch police arrest more than 20 people during anti-lockdown protests in Rotterdam




Dutch police have arrested more than 20 people during anti-lockdown protests in Rotterdam.

The protests got underway on Friday. The demonstrations turned violent at times, and seven people were wounded.

People had gathered to protest against the discriminatory move to prevent unvaccinated people to access indoor hospitality venues.

Health authorities reported over 23,000 new coronavirus cases in the Netherlands on Thursday.
