The European medicines regulatory agency is now reportedly reviewing the possible link between the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the formation of blood clots, the same side effect caused by the AstraZeneca jab.
It is understood that four cases have already been detected, one of them with a fatal outcome.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine has been approved for use in the EU, but shipments have not yet commenced.
