The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued full approval for the use of the Pfizer vaccine in the United States.
Up to now, the Pfizer jab was only under emergency use authorization.
From today, doctors can routinely prescribe the shot for people aged 16 and older, if they think it’ll bring the patient any benefit.
