Fully vaccinated adults and children will no longer be required to quarantine when returning to the UK from ‘amber’ countries from July 19.
People aged 17 and under will be considered as ‘children’ in this context.
Even though quarantine will not be required, people returning to the UK from ‘amber’ countries will need to take a PCR test three days before flying back, a pre-departure test, and another test on their second day back. All these are likely to add hundreds of pounds to the holiday.
