The Government has announced the establishment of a compensation scheme for people injured by any of the Covid-19 vaccines administered in Ireland.
Officially, there have been 13,529 reports of vaccine-related injuries in Ireland, though the true figure is likely to be many multiples of that.
The timeline for the scheme has not been clarified.
