Government Ministers have reportedly agreed that the recommendations from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) should be implemented.
The NPHET recently recommended lifting mask mandates in most settings, except for healthcare settings.
Final decisions will reportedly be taken on Tuesday morning.
