Independent travel firm Hays Travel has announced the loss of 878 jobs.
The decision comes in the wake of the British Government’s sudden decision to force people returning from Spain to self-isolate for 14 days and the upcoming end of the furlough scheme as the main factors behind the move.
Hays Travel is the UK’s largest independent travel firm, currently employing around 4,500 people.
