The Department of Health have confirmed that there has been a small increase in the number of Delta variant Covid-19 cases.
In an announcement the Department confirmed that the number of cases has increased by 10 to 126.
It is understood that sequencing up to May 20th showed that there has been a 1% increase in cases of the variant.
The news comes as the Department of Health, NPHET and the Government have confirmed that they are continuing to monitor the the rise in the number of Indian variant cases in the UK.
