Irish health authorities have reported just under 1,360 new coronavirus infections over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 1,358 new cases confirmed in that period of time.
The dramatic increase in daily cases over the past few days has laid waste to the Government’s claims of a ‘successful’ vaccination program falter.
