Man (30s) charged after two gardai forced to flag down taxi after they were beaten in Dublin

A man has been arrested after two gardaí were assaulted in Dublin city centre in the early hours of Monday.

Two members of An Garda Síochána were assaulted during the incident after 2:00am, reports Breaking News.

Both members were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

A man in his 30s was arrested and has since been charged in connection with the investigation, reports Breaking News.

The man is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Monday morning.
