Pharma company Moderna is claiming that its vaccine is effective against the mutant coronavirus variants.
Specifically, Moderna mentioned that the new strains recently identified in the UK and South Africa remain susceptible to the vaccine.
The Moderna vaccine requires two doses to be fully effective.
