The Netherlands has suspended the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine for people under 60 due to ongoing reports about blood clots.
The move is a ‘precaution,’ following the confirmation that five women with ages ranging between 25 and 65 suffered blood clots shortly after taking the vaccine. Similar reports have emerged in many other countries.
Despite multiple reports from multiple countries, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) recently ruled that the AstraZeneca vaccine is ‘safe.’
