The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) is warning that Ireland might see up to 3,000 daily new coronavirus infections in just a few days.
According to NPHET, this is an ‘optimistic’ scenario, and that things will get worse before they get better.
It also emerged recently that NPHET will soon be disbanded and will cease to exist as an ‘independent’ organization.
