COVID-19 outbreak: Twelve new cases identified in the UK, bringing the total to 35

British medical authorities have confirmed 12 new cases of coronavirus in the UK, bringing the total of known cases to 35.

It is understood that some of these new cases were identified among members of a family in Surrey.

Medical teams now fear a large outbreak across the British Isles, and have said that banning large events and even locking down entire cities might have to be done to curtail further spread.
