The official tally of coronavirus infections in the UK has now risen to 115.
Medical officials have accepted that the outbreak ‘cannot be contained’, so the UK is now entering a ‘delaying’ phase, meaning that doctors will do all they can to slow down the spread of the virus, while accepting that the number of infections will keep rising for a number of days and weeks.
Sadly it was confirmed on Thursday that one person died from Coronavirus. The man was in and out of hospital for the past 10 days.
Boris Johnson said that it’s highly likely a widespread outbreak will occur across the UK.
