Trinity College Dublin has been hit with the Coronavirus, it’s been confirmed just in the last hour.
It’s understood that the college has written to ALL of its staff and students tonight to let them know that a case of Covid-19 has been detected on the campus
The letter, which The Liberal has seen, says that a section of its Dublin city centre campus will now close as a precautionary measure to stop and spreading but that the rest of the university will open and operate as normal and students and staff are welcome to still come in.
However, the college said that it’s a moving situation and that it advised its 18,000 students and 3,000 staff that they’ll be kept up to date from Trinity and advice from the Health Service Executive.
