Covid-19: Pubs face closure until May unless the coronavirus situation improves dramatically




Pubs are facing the dark prospect of remaining closed until May at least, unless the coronavirus situation improves dramatically.

Taoiseach appointee Micheal Martin today refused to rule out an extended closure period, saying that he ‘can’t make predictions.’

Many smaller and rural pubs are likely to never reopen when the lockdown is finally lifted.
