Russia has reported record coronavirus figures over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there were 799 new Covid-19-related deaths in that period of time. This is the most deaths recorded in the country in a single day.
Health authorities also confirmed 25,704 new infections, bringing the total tally to 5,907,999. According to the scientific community however, the real figure is probably many multiples of that.
