Scientists are warning of a large wave of new infections if lockdown is lifted too soon, adding that some restrictions might need to stay well beyond this year.
The warning came from the British scientific community, who says that there is a risk of ‘flying blind’ if all restrictions are lifted at the same time.
They’re recommending that restrictions are instead lifted on a phased basis.
