Former Taoiseach appointee and current (unelected) Tanaiste Leo Varadkar is this evening attempting to shift blame the Government’s appalling incompetence by scapegoating the minority when he says ‘the 5% unvaccinated are causing a lot of trouble.’
The statement, made without any data or merit to back it up, is causing uproar and laughter in equal measures.
The Government’s National Vaccination Program has failed miserably and the finger-pointing appears to be starting as ministers desperately try to find a fall guy.
