Taoiseach appointee Micheal Martin has hinted that further lockdown restrictions might be imposed in the very near future.
Government ministers are due to meet with the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) in two weeks to discuss the introduction of further restrictions.
The latest blunder by Mr. Martin et al includes the mandatory closing of pubs, restaurants, and other similar venues at midnight, which suggests that the Government believes that viral infection can only occur after that time.
Other gems include ministers’ belief that continuous dancing inside nightclubs will prevent infection, and that standing stances inside music venues will keep people safe.
