Taoiseach appointee Micheal Martin will address the nation this evening to relay the instructions given by the National Public Emergency Team (NPHET)’s instructions.
Mr. Martin, who appears to have become a puppet whose strings are being handled by NPHET, is expected to do as he’s told, as in previous occasions.
The new restrictions reportedly involve NPHET’s strong wish for hospitality to close down at 5pm from Monday. This is an effective lockdown for most pubs, which often open for business in late afternoon. NPHET’s disdain for pubs is well known.
