Wales is set to introduce new restrictions over the coming days, in an effort to curtail the spread of the Omicron variant.
It is understood that social distancing will be strictly enforced in shops and other indoor spaces, and nightclubs will close from December 27th.
People are now also advised to take a test every time they set foot outside their home.
The most common symptom of Omicron (an anagram for ‘moronic’) is a light cough.
